Gilks' Garage Café
Motor-themed café in a former family garage on Banbury Road, popular for breakfast, lunch, coffee and homemade cakes.

Why cyclists like it
Gilks' Garage Café in Kineton is a brilliant stop to work into a ride. I stopped there mid-ride and really liked the relaxed, garage-themed setting — it has a bit more character than your average café, with vintage cars, bikes and motoring touches that make it feel memorable. The coffee and cake were spot on, and the breakfast/brunch options make it a good choice if you need a proper refuel rather than just a quick drink. It was friendly, busy and had a nice atmosphere, so it's definitely the sort of place I'd plan a route around and happily return to. The bike rack is close to the car park exit which did make me a little nervous from a bike security point of view.
